Sales Support: The Associate Systems Engineer (ASE) is pre-sales focused and all associated activities are based on the team goal of driving revenue. Position Overview:

Responsible for handling and processing videoconferencing services while maintaining an active role in a global team service environment. Interface with customers via face to face and/or service desk call center to provide videoconferencing information, instruction, and delivering client requests during live meetings events.

Responsibilities:

  • To process meeting requests via team and private mailboxes in accordance with defined processes and requirements and applying requests to video schedule in a videoconferencing management system.
  • Handle first level video support calls for customers during live calls including basic system end user instruction, adding and disconnecting connections, and being available for in room videoconferencing support if needed. Also be able to determine and escalate any severity issues to a Tier II technician.
  • Provide information regarding to video schedule, meeting requests, and some technical information for videoconferencing connections with other sites worldwide. Position Overview:

The Solution Architect (SA) - visual communication is pre-sales focused role and all associated activities are based on the presales engineering team goal of driving revenue. This is a senior specialist position and the SA will work with the SE team to help drive revenue, develop solutions, grow/refine the solution portfolio, work with marketing and to publicly represent Carousel in the industry. 

Responsibilities:

  • In this role the SA is responsible for supporting Carousel's largest sales opportunity. The SA's works with the front line SE on opportunities and acts as a subject matter expert. This will include assisting on customer calls to help qualify the technical aspect of the opportunity, validating any associated designs assisting with competitive analysis and Industry trends.
  • The SA will conduct research and run a tiger team to build and test complex, multivendor, multi discipline reference architects (Microsoft - Polycom, Tandberg, Avaya, etc) with a focus on interoperability. Once the reference architectures are complete (validated, tested and documented) the SA will work to educate the presales engineering, postsales implementation team and NOC engineers on the reference architecture.
  • The SA will work with the Marketing team to provide the content to properly market this solution (white paper, etc).
  • The SA is responsible for creating and maintaining relationships with each manufacture (PLM, SE, PSO, Sales, TAC, etc) and will lead the effort on roadmaps, known issues and work arounds and feature requests
  • National travel is a requirement of this position.
  • The SA will be a though leader in the video and infrastructure field and will be responsible to track the industry, determine trends and new products. From this knowledge the SA will present new solution and help to continually develop the solution portfolio.
  • The SA will also be responsible to present the visual communication solutions internally and publically to include EBCs, customer meetings, partner events and industry shows.
  • The SA will be required to develop and deliver training on the video conferencing, infrastructure solutions and any reference architectures developed. The goal is to distribute the knowledge gained to the presales engineering team. This will allow the SA the ability and time to onboard new technologies.

Required Knowledge and Experience:
