Jeff Gardner

Chief Executive Officer

Jeff Gardner is the CEO of Carousel Industries. Since co-founding the company in 1992, he has led Carousel Industries to become a global leader in the converged communications industry. At Carousel, Jeff focuses on setting a clear vision for the organization with defined goals for both the short and long term. With input from Carousel's internal Technology Council, Jeff also determines which markets and product lines will most benefit Carousel's clients.

Since Carousel was founded the company has grown an average of 50% per year with estimated 2010 revenues of well over $200 million. The company has over 8,000 customers, including 35 of the Fortune 100. Carousel has been recognized by both VAR Magazine and CRN Magazine as one of the top technology integrators in the US and has been listed in the Inc. 500 five times.

Gardner has 17 years of technology-related experience. Prior to forming Carousel Industries, Gardner was the Controller at RWK Business Systems, an office solutions provider based in Simsbury, CT, and a CPA at the accounting firm of Koston & Co in West Hartford, CT. Gardner is a leading member of the Rhode Island Commodores, a group of 325 top business and civic leaders who play a key role in enhancing the state’s economy and quality of life. Gardner graduated from Bryant University's College of Business in Smithfield, RI with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.


Michael Vickers

CTO

Michael Vickers is President of the Board of Directors and Corporate Technology Officer for Carousel Industries. Mike oversees Carousel's technology vision and directs the management and support of Carousel’s high tech service and support offerings.

Mike co-founded Carousel Industries in 1992. Prior to establishing Carousel Industries, Mike started his career at BICC electronics, later becoming a division of 3COM. As the manager of installations, Mike engineered and managed the installation of LAN systems for the US government and large industrial clients such as IBM, DEC, CIA, US Army.

Mike graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Science. He holds electrical licenses in over 20 states and serves on multiple technology boards and counsels.


Rick Proulx

Chief Financial Officer

Rick Proulx is the Chief Financial Officer for Carousel Industries, where he is responsible for ensuring controlled profitable growth, maximized profitability, and the protection of Carousel's assets.

Rick has worked in finance and accounting for over 25 years. Prior to joining the Carousel team in 2002, he acted as CFO for a metals manufacturing company and earned his CPA at Peat Marwick Mitchell (now KPMG) where he developed his understanding of how banking, legal, and financial viewpoints merge to form a sound financial strategy.

Rick is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island College of Business with a degree in Accounting.


James Marsh

Senior Vice President

James Marsh oversees the development and execution of Carousel Industries sales and marketing strategies. This includes a team of 120 sales executives working in Carousel’s 23 regional offices across the nation and an inside sales force of approximately 100 individuals. Under Jim’s leadership, Carousel’s revenue has increased over 6,000% since he joined the company in 2001. He has also managed the acquisition of six companies during his tenure.

Prior to joining Carousel, Jim served as Assistant Vice President for Farmstead Telephone Group, one of the nation’s first AT&T/Lucent business partners. At Farmstead, Jim was responsible for 2,000% growth in revenues and the expansion of the company’s sales efforts into five new markets.

James is a graduate of University of Southern New Hampshire where he received a Bachelors in Administration with a minor in Finance.


Robert Harkins

Partner & Vice President, Sales

Robert Harkins is a Partner and Vice President of Sales for Carousel Industries, where he manages relationships with Global Service Providers and System Integrators. Since joining in 2001, Bob has been integral in building and positioning Carousel’s Managed Services offers deployed nationally and in over 75 Countries through the global support practice. Bob works with integration partners to improve our support offers to our clients and is a member of the Executive Team that has completed multiple acquisitions in the last 10 years.

Bob has worked in communications for over 20 years. Prior to joining Carousel Industries he worked for several companies including EMC, Avaya, Lucent, and AT&T. During that time, Harkins held various sales and operations positions, as well as position in new business development.

Harkins received a B.A. in Economics/Philosophy from Boston College, Chestnut Hill, MA, 1988.
