Jeff Gardner Chief Executive Officer

Jeff is an established veteran of the communications and networking industries. He is a visionary with a proven track record of building Carousel through innovative growth plays, consistently staying one step ahead of the technology curve. Since co-founding the company in 1992, he has transformed Carousel from cabling to the cloud – evolving the company from a thriving source of collaboration and network technologies to a holistic professional and managed services provider offering cloud-based solutions. Under Jeff’s leadership, Carousel has grown both organically and through eight strategic acquisitions, enjoying 23 consecutive years of profitable growth. Jeff’s penchant for success stems from more than a sharp eye for corporate progress. He has a distinct ability to anticipate customer needs and is fueled by a passion to help his clients become true innovators and leaders in their markets. Connecting every day with customers, Jeff is committed to providing a personal focus and ensuring that Carousel delivers a positive impact on each client’s business. He applies the same level of personal focus to the entire Carousel team. As the business grows, he takes great care to protect Carousel’s values-led culture and ensure the company continues to be one of the best places to work.

James Marsh Chief Revenue Officer

Jim is responsible for the strategy and evolutionary growth of Carousel’s entire business – spanning across the the full range of Carousel's technology and service offerings. As a dynamic leader of the Carousel executive team, he oversees the direction and execution of Carousel’s sales, engineering, business development, and marketing initiatives. With a relentless focus on customer success, Jim works closely with Carousel services to steadily increase customer loyalty and drive growth across all industries and market segments. Since Jim joined Carousel in 2001, he has overseen six acquisitions, his organization has expanded to over 350 professionals, and the company's revenue increased over 6,000%. As a result, Carousel has been honored seven times as an Inc. 500 fast-growing company. Jim is committed to ensure that while Carousel grows, the organization maintains its customer-centric mission to create value by helping clients achieve their desired business outcomes. He is passionate about transforming the way customers work and run their business – helping them to connect and collaborate the way today's IT users demand and to modernize their networking infrastructure. Jim played a pivotal role in Carousel’s entry into the managed services and cloud markets. He leads the organization to truly understand customer needs and positions Carousel as a strategic advisor who helps customers evolve and grow.

Rick Proulx Chief Financial Officer

Rick is responsible for the overall financial health and well-being of the company. He oversees the accounting, financial planning and analysis, treasury, mergers and acquisitions, and tax functions at Carousel. One of Carousel’s best kept secret weapons, he works closely with the leadership team to deliver mission-critical business support. In lockstep with Carousel’s growth strategy, he arms Carousel’s executives with the information required to make the right decisions to propel Carousel’s fiscal stature. With over 25 years of experience building and leading finance teams, Rick is chartered with ensuring controlled profitable growth, maximized profitability, and the protection of Carousel’s assets. Since he joined Carousel in 2002, Rick has guided Carousel through multiple acquisitions with record growth and profitability throughout the years. Rooted at the heart of his approach is a deep understanding of how banking, legal, and financial viewpoints merge to form a sound financial strategy. Prior to Carousel, Rick was CFO for a metals manufacturing company.

Bill Thompson Senior Vice President of Product and Service

Bill is responsible for the full array of technology solutions Carousel offers, including delivery to Carousel’s customers. In this capacity he is an essential contributor to setting Carousel’s customer-centric corporate strategy and vision. Equipped with over 18 years of technology expertise and a passion for service excellence, Bill is dedicated to creating a compelling customer experience. Having joined Carousel in 2013, he spends much of his time mapping technology solutions with service offerings to solve the business challenges that Carousel customers are facing. He instituted a client feedback program designed to shape and operationalize unique product and differentiated services offers based on real-time customer input. Bill’s relentless focus on innovative uses of technologies and IT services to enable business transformation ensures Carousel is consistently in tune with its customers. Prior to joining Carousel, Bill was Global Head of Video Operations at British Telecommunications, where he led a multinational services organization supporting global customers from service centers on three continents.

Nikki Nemarich Vice President of Marketing

Nikki leads a purpose-driven marketing organization at Carousel. She ensures that all marketing initiatives tightly align to Carousel's customer-centric corporate and sales strategies. Since joining Carousel in 2015, Nikki has helped the company dive into digital marketing, place customers at the heart of its marketing strategy, and develop programs that showcase Carousel’s capability as a strategic advisor on transforming their customers' business. Responsible for all aspects of Carousel’s marketing, Nikki has a special passion for defining Carousel’s success through the success of its customers. She uses a modern variety of marketing vehicles to broadcast the unique stories of customers who evolve the way they communicate and reinvent the flow of information throughout their networks. Nikki has over 14 years of high-tech marketing and leadership experience, having directed global campaigns, field marketing, communications, and sales training programs at EMC. Prior to EMC, she led marketing, channel, and sales programs teams at webMethods.

Rich Montefusco Vice President of Managed Services

Rich heads the innovative Managed Services organization at Carousel – an area of tremendous growth. Rich was brought on board to create a program that provides customers’ IT departments with proactive services to ensure that they keep ahead of the innovation curve and can obtain successful business outcomes. With over 12 years of leadership experience in managed services organizations, he brings a broad background in building, running and growing successful managed services programs. Since joining in early 2016, Rich has taken his unique skill set and experience in large Managed Services engagements to ensure that customers can future proof their business and rely on a singular, higher-value partner. Before joining Carousel, Rich created and ran successful Managed Services organizations at Global Convergence and Pangaia Partners, where he focused on cloud and Cisco – helping Gold Cisco partners achieve venerable Cloud and Managed Services certifications.

Rick Houlihan Vice President of Cloud Practice

Rick leads the progressive cloud solution practice and represents an area of tremendous potential growth for Carousel. With over 25 years of experience in the technology industry, Rick is perfectly poised to carve out a rock solid space in this market. He is highly adept at helping to shape the cloud strategies of Carousel’s customers and evaluating the right solutions to support the unique needs of each organization. In his business development efforts, Rick engages heavily with cloud solution partners and acts as a strong champion within Carousel sales. Rick played a key part in building Carousel’s initial book of business and in bringing the first wave of Carousel cloud customers to life. He has a deep-rooted passion for elevating customer success and leads Carousel’s Executive Briefing program, designed to deliver high-touch, in-depth knowledge to Carousel’s customers. Prior to joining Carousel, Rick was Technical Director at Nicom Technologies and a partner at Focus Communications.

Dan Tassone Vice President of Sales, East

Dan is responsible for the sales organization for the Eastern USA and plays an integral role in Carousel’s organic growth plans. Dan has over 15 years of vast experience in communications, networking, and security solutions and an impressive track record of building, managing, and motivating sales teams. His entrepreneurial spirit and passion for high-tech sales compliments Carousel’s ever widening portfolio of services and solutions and has allowed him to recruit top talent and exponentially increase the pipeline for his territory since joining in 2016. Prior to Carousel, Dan created and led an experienced Sales organization at Consultedge, growing them into the ninth-largest Avaya National Partner.

Brad McCain Senior Director of Data and Networking

Brad oversees the data and networking practice - a key area of growth for Carousel. Since joining in 2015 with extensive experience designing and selling solutions for the data market, he has built a solid strategy with sales, engineering, and services to establish Carousel's value to customers in this space. Brad works in lockstep with each sales team to ensure that we are creating the best portfolio for our clients. His passion goes beyond just selling data solutions, to understanding how Carousel can add value to customers' Data, Networking, and Security strategies, which are constantly evolving and increasing in importance to customers overall IT strategy. With over 20 years of experience, he joins Carousel most recently from Avaya, and his experience ranges from entrepreneurship to successful sales leadership positions with manufacturers such as Force10 Networks, Alcatel, Xylan, and Enterasys Networks.

Rhonda Wingate Vice President of Collaboration and Video

Rhonda leads the Video and Collaboration practice, an area of continued growth for Carousel. She has 20 years of experience in this space where she has lead, direct sales, channel sales, marketing and sales management. With a passion and expertise for building strong, successful channel and direct sales teams, she has accelerated the growth of the Video and Collaboration Solutions and Services practice since joining in 2014. Rhonda previously was the SVP of Enterprise & Public Sector at AVI-SPL, running the top sales team in the West. Before AVI-SPL, she was the SVP for the East region of BT Conferencing, where she ran a large sales team, responsible for 65% of total revenue for BT.

Ed Wadbrook Vice President Applications/Collaborative Solutions

Ed oversees the Application and Collaboration team at Carousel focused on Unified Communications and Collaboration, Avaya and Microsoft Professional Services and Microsoft Office 365 Cloud Solution Software and Services. As one of only a handful of providers with a completely differentiated solution, Carousel's Microsoft Office 365 Cloud offering is one that shows extreme growth. Ed's passion comes from the fact that he was a contributor to many industry transformative solutions at their infancy, including, Microsoft’s UC strategy around enterprise voice and Avaya Aura. Before joining Carousel in 2012, Ed held senior positions at Avaya, where he helped to shape the Aura™ product and Microsoft, where he championed the development of Microsoft’s Enterprise UC strategy and business plan.

Jen Vahtola Vice President, Operations

Jennifer oversees the Sales Operations team, including Sales Support, Purchasing, Commissions, Data Integrity, and Business Systems – critical to Carousel’s customer outreach and support. Her team touches every step of a customer’s journey with Carousel – from RFP to service to support of a customer contract. Jennifer is dedicated to ensuring that her internal clients have what they need to deliver the best possible solutions to Carousel’s customers. Because her expertise extends to large-scale implementations of sales and marketing platforms as well, she is currently heading up a large CRM implementation for Carousel, a critical part of taking our data to the next level regarding reporting, accuracy and analysis, enabling sales and service to better reach and service customers. Before Carousel, Jennifer was CFO of Nicom Technologies, a company acquired by Carousel in 2006.

Gail Hynes Vice President Human Resources

Gail leads Carousel’s Human Resources team. With a Six Sigma Green Belt, she has the proven skill set to support the tremendous growth Carousel has experienced. Since 2004 Gail has partnered with senior management to drive and influence organizational objectives. With deep experience in recruiting for high-growth, high-tech organizations, acquisitions, and restructuring, she has proved essential in the several acquisitions she has experienced as part of Carousel. Prior to Carousel, Gail held senior human resources positions at Northrop Grumman and Cadre Technologies.
