Exeter, RI, February 28, 2012 -- Carousel Industries [Enterprise Connect booth 1025], a leader in data networking and converged communications, today announced that it will be demonstrating a full range of its unified communications solutions during Enterprise Connect between March 26 and 28 at the Gaylord Palms in Orlando. The company will feature ongoing presentations covering unified communications/virtualization, video, data and its own customized software solutions designed to suit customers’ unique business requirements.

Following is a brief description of each demonstration area, which will feature the latest solutions from Carousel’s best of breed manufacturing partners as well as Carousel’s new software offering:

  • Station 1: UC/Virtualization Station
With an increasingly distributed workforce, the need for mobile devices to function as personal workspaces is now a necessity for most companies and organizations. This presents a daunting challenge for IT personnel to support an increasing range of disparate end-user devices, since it is now mission critical to deliver communication solutions that are both mobile and secure. This station will demonstrate how a virtual desktop environment can enhance business productivity while keeping information secure at end-user workstations.
  • Station 2: Video
As videoconferencing and unified communications technology become widely adopted throughout the industry, organizations and enterprises must consider how users are interconnected. This demonstration explores how ‘bridge the gap to interoperability’ and connect remote teams, colleagues and clients. Topics covered will include:
    • Maintaining business continuity
    • Reducing time to market
    • Driving customer intimacy
    • Unlocking employee potential
  • Station 3: Data - Identity Aware Networking
As organizations and companies operate in a climate of increasing regulation and compliance, managing access to the network is more important than ever. This station, presented by co-booth sponsor Extreme Networks, will explore how organizations can efficiently manage access rights for employees and stakeholders across a multitude of systems, applications and platforms. Topics covered will include:
    • Network wide viewing and reporting of identities
    • Maintaining business continuity with mobile and on-demand access
    • Centralizing management of network-wide, role based policies
  • Station 4: Carousel Software
