James Marsh
Senior Vice President
James Marsh oversees the development and execution of Carousel Industries sales and marketing strategies. This includes a team of 120 sales executives working in Carousel’s 23 regional offices across the nation and an inside sales force of approximately 100 individuals. Under Jim’s leadership, Carousel’s revenue has increased over 6,000% since he joined the company in 2001. He has also managed the acquisition of six companies during his tenure.
Prior to joining Carousel, Jim served as Assistant Vice President for Farmstead Telephone Group, one of the nation’s first AT&T/Lucent business partners. At Farmstead, Jim was responsible for 2,000% growth in revenues and the expansion of the company’s sales efforts into five new markets.
James is a graduate of University of Southern New Hampshire where he received a Bachelors in Administration with a minor in Finance.
Rick Parker
Vice President, Federal Sales
Rick brings over 29 years of experience to his position heading up Carousel’s Federal Sales Division, where he leads Direct Sales Teams in their mission to target Federal Agencies in both the Civilian Sector and Department of Defense. Rick is also responsible for building relationships with strategic Partners, as well as teaming with Integrators, Service Providers, Prime Contract Holders, and Small Business Set-Asides. He collaborates on establishing the company’s strategic direction by working closely with Carousel’s strategic OEM partners, our Finance, Project Management and Implementation teams to ensure adherence to compliance issues. Rick also works with Carousel’s Marketing Team to assemble focused marketing materials targeting the government sector.
Rick joined Carousel Industries through the acquisition of TriNET Systems, which he co-founded in 1992 and where he held the position of Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Prior to TriNET Rick held positions at General Dynamics/United Technologies Communications Corp and Executone Information Systems.
While at Executone, Rick attended Northeastern University’s State of the Art Technology Program, completing the program in 1990 with specializations in Telecommunications and Data Communications.
Brian Kiel
Director of Federal Sales, DOD/CIV Sectors
Formerly the Vice President of Federal Sales at Unified TelData prior to its acquisition by Carousel, Brian is an accomplished executive with a strong portfolio of successes orchestrating the start-up, growth, and optimization of IT businesses within the VoIP, Data equipment, software, consulting, system integration and computer technology domains. At UTDi Brian focused on client and funnel development, as well as training for the sales team and the company’s online web portal for its activities with the NASA SEWP contract. Prior to ITDi, Brian served as Avaya Government Solutions’ Global Account Manager for the Federal Sector, with responsibility for managing DOJ, DHS, Dept. of Treasury, Federal Reserve, FEMA, NASA, Census, DOE, HHS, DoEd, SEC, and GSA accounts. With 24 years of involvement in the Federal sector, Brian brings a history of cultivated relationships allowing affective teaming and familiarity with over 12 different contract vehicles.
Kelly Harman
Vice President of Marketing
Kelly Harman is Vice President Marketing for Carousel Industries where she is responsible for all aspects of marketing and public relations for the company. She has over 20 years of marketing, sales and business development experience working with US & European-based technology and telecom companies in the areas of business & marketing strategy, tactical planning and execution, channel program development, merger and acquisition integration, and all aspects of sales/marketing plans.
Prior to joining Carousel, Kelly was Vice President of Marketing for TriNET Systems, which was acquired by Carousel Industries in August 2010. Prior to joining TriNET in 2009, Kelly was president and founder of Zephyr Strategy, a strategic marketing firm located in Virginia. Her clients included MCI, Sony, Panasonic, Tandberg, Lockheed Martin, Polycom, and many small & midsized companies in the Washington, DC area as well as across the US. The company also had a roster of international clients.
David Hutto
Vice President of Technical Services
David has worked as an engineer for over 19 years for AT&T and Lucent Technologies prior to joining Carousel. He has extensive experience in the Federal sector, including serving as Lead Engineer on new voice systems for the CIA, White House, Secret Service and FBI. In addition, David has managed operations including overseeing communication operations travel for the President of the United States and managing the engineers who handle troubleshooting and day-to-day add moves and changes for the Executive Office of the President. David was also responsible for the design and build-out for Homeland Security Headquarters and National Operations Center (NOC) in 2001-2002 and has managed the implementation and installation of many military base total changeouts.
