Carousel Industries is Awarded CBS Contract for Communications Infrastructure for Super Bowl XLIV
Exeter, Rhode Island, December 10, 2009 — Carousel Industries is pleased to announce that they have been awarded the contract by CBS to provide the communications infrastructure in support of next year’s television broadcast of Super Bowl XLIV, February 7, 2010.
In executing this agreement, Carousel will install, program, test and turn up over (300) voice end-points, network services, and connect over 50,000 feet of voice, data, CATV, video and fiber cable. The temporary installation will support TV sets at Dolphin Stadium, and South Beach, Production Hotel and “stand-up” positions throughout the stadium complex. “We are enthusiastic to again have the opportunity to serve CBS and Super Bowl XLIV and are confident that our Carousel team of experts will provide yet another successful implementation,” stated Jeff Gardner, Carousel Industries CEO.
Carousel will hit the ground running January 20th with an engineer, cabling expert and six additional technicians that will ensure the initial T1 service and that the CBS advance production unit can start communicating with the outside world by January 25th.
