In the fall of 2012, AMAC’s CIO began moving forward on plans to take advantage of state development incentives to open a new 250-seat health services call center in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. They contacted Carousel Industries to resume discussions begun earlier in the year, shifting their focus to the building the new contact center. The Pawtucket facility would need far more than simply a new call center system. In addition, AMAC would need an entire new data infrastructure, robust WAN/LAN connectivity with their Long Island City offices, complete power and cooling systems, disaster recovery options and strong firewall security.
