After a careful review of Current’s needs and existing solutions and processes, the Carousel Industries Managed Services team outlined an alternative option based on our SmartPoint Wisdom service package. Under SmartPoint, their data network would be proactively monitored on a 24/7/365 basis from our fully staffed, 100-seat Network Operations Center (NOC), as Carousel staff would continually examine each element in detail for early signs of infrastructure stresses or failures. As problems were proactively identified, the Carousel team would structurally organize and schedule repair efforts to address them quickly and with minimal impact to Current TV operations. Current TV management and IT staff would receive regular health and event reports, as well as the ability to review infrastructure health for themselves via a single-pane, Web-based monitoring interface.
