Voice Messaging

Carousel is a premier services provider for Avaya’s Modular Messaging product. Regardless of backend type, Carousel is there to help understand your options and provide the right solution. In conjunction with products like Mutare’s EVM and Spinvox Speech to Text, MM is one of the most capable voice messaging system ever manufactured.

Instant Messaging / Presence

Customers have a lot of options when it comes to an enterprise presence solution. Carousel offers both IBM Sametime and Microsoft OCS 2007r2 for our customers instant messaging needs, as well as Avaya’s Aura Presence Services for presence integration with Avaya’s Aura Communications Manager and one-X product suite.

Desktop Clients

The integration of the desktop and the PBX has never been more of a business requirement than in today’s marketplace. With the variety of desktop clients that become available, understanding your options when enabling presence and click-to-call at the desktop can be a challenge. Carousel can help you choose the right soft phone and other desktop clients to meet the business need and provide the right level of functionality and usability to the client.

Visual Communications

Carousel’s visual communications leadership is demonstrated through our strong partnerships with both Polycom and Tandberg. Our expertise extends beyond simple room-based systems, though, into the integrations of those systems with desktop clients (Tandberg’s Movi, Microsoft Office Communicator, Avaya one-X Communicator) and with your Communications Manager PBX. Additionally, Carousel can work with you to enable your conference and board rooms with telepresence capabilities and complete audiovisual integrations for the rooms themselves.

Conferencing/Collaboration

Carousel finds that many of our customers are having to come to grips with significant monthly expense on audio and web conferencing capabilities. In addition, by using hosted services, customers sacrifice the high level of desktop integration for scheduling and control of meetings that is available today. Carousel can help to analyze your usage and design a solution that allows you to host your own web and audio conferencing services and achieve tight integrations into existing infrastructure while avoiding high management costs.

Mobility

Carousel offers both the Avaya one-X Mobile system and DiVitas Networks for fixed mobile convergence solutions. Today’s mobility solutions demand both functionality and visible cost savings and Carousel has experience delivering both for our clients, through visual voicemail, instant messaging, and presence to/from the mobile device in conjunction with savings on cellular minutes by leveraging existing enterprise Wi-Fi using dual-mode devices.

Virtualization

Carousel provides virtualization services in partnership with VMWare to reduce not only the cost of owning new unified communications applications but to reduce the overall cost of a customers’ entire infrastructure. Large or small, Carousel can help to identify existing usage of resources, design the virtual architecture, and work with you to move your existing physical servers to virtual images. Carousel can also provide ongoing management of your VMWare environment as well as remote alarm management and resolution.

Faxing

Faxes tend to start or end a process and certainly fall under the context of Unified Communications.
