What do you consider the best invention/technology of all time?

I love UCaaS solutions and I use them every day. They’re workhorse productivity solutions allowing me to spontaneously move from checking someone’s status or beginning a voice call to sharing a desktop. All day, every day.

How do you keep a healthy work/life balance?

Staying active. I moved to Colorado 25 years ago seeking easy access to outdoor activities. People here are so active, that unless you lock yourself inside a room, you can’t avoid some activity.

What are your top 3 life highlights?

1. Marriage to Tonya and having daughter Bryn. 2. Lots of international travel – my wife wants to tick off 100 countries and we’re almost halfway there. 3. Two very difficult rock climbs in Rocky Mountain National Park: the Yellow Wall and Birds of Fire (some years ago).

What is most exciting about being a #CarouselCrew member?

Having an opportunity to work with world-class experts in technology who are really excited about what they do. The challenge is keeping up with them!

What is the best advice you’ve ever received?

Don’t let the perfect be the enemy of the good; bring the initiative to a working level, get your hands dirty with experience, and improve the solution over time.
