Get to know us! At Carousel, we’re more than 1,300 #CarouselCrew members strong, spanning 27 locations across the country. Each month, we’re excited to share a glimpse of our talented team members.

This week, meet NYC-based Marianne Kelly, Sr. Dir., Avaya UC Collaboration, who has been with Carousel for 14 years. With a common last name (and many Kellys at Carousel), she is often called (and responds to) Kelly. We sat down with her to hear what she’s reading and the best gift she’s ever received.

Reach out to Carousel today to see how our talent, partner affiliations, and thousands of certifications can help you achieve your IT goals.

What are your top 3 life highlights?

  1. My family–husband and four children. 2. Backpacking through Europe for a few months in my early 20s. 3. Bicycling across the Golden Gate Bridge.

What is the best advice you’ve ever received?

“In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.”

What are you currently reading?

I just finished “All the Light We Cannot See”, about the horrors of WWII, and I just started “Cleopatra, A Life”, a biography.

What was the most memorable gift you’ve given and why?

When one of my daughters was still in school there was a bet in her calculus class to see who could remember the most digits of pi.  While they were memorizing decimals, I found a puzzle with a picture of a cherry pie on one side and pi digits into the hundreds on the back. Best SWAG I ever brought home from a conference!  She still keeps it on display in her living room.

What do you consider the best technology?

Video conferencing has so many uses in both our business and personal lives.

What is most exciting about being a #CarouselCrew member?

Carousel is never boring and I am challenged every day.
