What do you enjoy most about your role at Carousel?

Helping my clients implement technology solutions that have a great impact on their business, such as improving customer service through advanced contact center technologies, implementing telemedicine technologies that improve patient care in healthcare, and making communication within organizations easier through video collaboration.

What technology or solution do you enjoy talking about the most?

Ever since my early days of inside sales at Carousel, I have enjoyed talking about video conferencing and collaboration technologies. This is a technology that everyone within an organization uses and can see an impact in their daily work life. The use of FaceTime in our personal life has increased the need for easy-to-use video conferencing within the business world. This is the type of technology that everyone can get behind and get excited about which is why I love talking about it so much!

Where is your favorite place in the world?

It’s hard to pick just one as I LOVE to travel and experience new cultures. But so far, Florence (Firenze), Italy is my favorite place in the world! I first traveled and lived in Florence for four months during my Junior year of college. I was able to return to Florence a couple of years ago on my honeymoon with my husband. It was so amazing sharing my favorite place in the world with my husband as it was his first time visiting the city. I was able to share with him my love for the quaint Piazzas, delicious food, beautiful artwork, breathtaking architecture, and historical cobblestone streets.

What is your favorite family tradition?

Every year during the last week of July, my family goes camping at place called Hermit Island on the coast of Maine. There are almost 70 family members and close family friends that go every year. We have been going for almost 50 years and I have gone every year since I was six months old (only missing 1 year as I had just started working at Carousel). We spend our days on the beach–resting in the sun, swimming, playing games, and sharing stories. After watching the sunset we return to a camp site to enjoy each other’s company around the camp fire. As much as I love technology, it is a chance to unplug from technology for a week, enjoy some R&R, and spend time with family!

What does a “perfect” day look like for you?

Waking up in a new and exciting country–getting the opportunity to travel, eat the local food, experience the local culture and to do it all with my favorite travel partner (my husband). I believe that traveling makes you a better person and makes you appreciate all you have and the ones you love.
