Artificial Intelligence (AI) scares people. Hollywood has done a respectable job of bringing to the forefront, the dangers inherent, in AI. But everything a machine does, ultimately, is designed and programmed by a human. For us, the enterprise community, AI and ML is both a threat and an opportunity.
Long-time Carousel clients and partners have become quite familiar with our annual Always On Technology Symposium thought leadership events held each fall. In this session, he will de-mystify AI and discuss the line of demarcation between AI and software for business use. He will also dig into how machine learning–as an AI application–enables machines to access data to learn for themselves. Finally, he will address both the threats and opportunities presented by AI and machine learning at the enterprise-level.
Ryan is based in the Bay Area and is an accomplished business and technical architect with 10+ years of engineering leadership and partner consulting experience. Ryan is a leader in Carousel’s Technology Strategy BU (Office of the CTO), which encompasses product and services portfolio development and enablement, pre-sales engineering, and customer advisory. His passion is to look at future trends and help clients leverage Carousel’s technology solutions to achieve favorable business outcomes through the successful implementation, deployment and usage of these tools and technologies.
