Respected Rhode Island business publication ranks Carousel Industries as number four on fastest growing list and number 14 on top private companies list

Exeter, Rhode Island, September 8, 2011 — Carousel Industries, a leader in data networking and converged communications, announced it has been recognized by Providence Business News as the fourth fastest-growing private company with $25 million and above in annual revenue in Rhode Island. Carousel was also ranked at number 14 in the newspaper’s list of the top private companies in Rhode Island.

As the only IT company to make Providence Business News’ Top Private Companies list, Carousel has demonstrated that even in a challenging economy, there are still great opportunities for technology companies in Rhode Island. Carousel has not only grown its revenue and profits, but also its staff. The company has hired 150 people in the last three years and is still seeking to expand its reach with additional talent.

In 2010, Carousel saw three-year revenue growth of 52% and total revenue of more than $224 million.

Since the publication of the 2010 list of the fastest growing companies in Rhode Island, Carousel has risen in the ranks by three spots, going from number 17 on last year’s list to number 14 on this year’s list.
