Jeff is an established veteran of the communications and networking industries. He is a visionary with a proven track record of building Carousel through innovative growth plays, consistently staying one step ahead of the technology curve. Since co-founding the company in 1992, he has transformed Carousel from cabling to the cloud – evolving the company from a thriving source of collaboration and network technologies to a holistic professional and managed services provider offering cloud-based solutions. Under Jeff’s leadership, Carousel has grown both organically and through eight strategic acquisitions, enjoying 23 consecutive years of profitable growth. Jeff’s penchant for success stems from more than a sharp eye for corporate progress. He has a distinct ability to anticipate customer needs and is fueled by a passion to help his clients become true innovators and leaders in their markets. Connecting every day with customers, Jeff is committed to providing a personal focus and ensuring that Carousel delivers a positive impact on each client’s business. He applies the same level of personal focus to the entire Carousel team. James Marsh

Chief Revenue Officer


Jim is responsible for the strategy and evolutionary growth of Carousel’s entire business – spanning across the full range of Carousel's technology and service offerings. As a dynamic leader of the Carousel executive team, he oversees the direction and execution of Carousel’s sales, engineering, business development, and marketing initiatives. With a relentless focus on customer success, Jim works closely with Carousel services to steadily increase customer loyalty and drive growth across all industries and market segments. Since Jim joined Carousel in 2001, he has overseen six acquisitions, his organization has expanded to over 350 professionals, and the company's revenue increased over 6,000%. As a result, Carousel has been honored seven times as one of Inc. 500 fastest-growing companies. Jim is committed to ensure that while Carousel grows, the organization maintains its customer-centric mission to create value by helping clients achieve their desired business outcomes. He is passionate about transforming the way customers work and run their business – helping them to connect and collaborate the way today's IT users demand and to modernize their networking infrastructure. Jim played a pivotal role in Carousel’s entry into the managed services and cloud markets. He leads the organization to truly understand customer needs and positions Carousel as a strategic advisor who helps customers evolve and grow.

Jason Cherry

Chief Financial Officer

Jason Cherry is the Chief Financial Officer for Carousel Industries bringing nearly 20 years of experience leading global, diverse, and distributed teams in manufacturing, service, and data-as-a-service industries. With centralized ownership around finance, business systems, corporate data, and reporting, Jason and his teams will further drive intelligence into Carousel’s daily business decisions. Prior to Carousel, Jason was Senior Vice President, Financial Planning and Analysis, for Nielsen where he was responsible for all planning, forecasting, and reporting for the company. Prior to Nielsen, he spent more than 15 years at General Electric Company (GE) in a series of progressively senior roles across aerospace and power generation industries driving financial and operational rigor culminating as the CFO for GE Distributed Power. Jason is also a graduate of GE’s prestigious Financial Management Program (FMP) and Corporate Audit Staff (CAS). Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Northeastern University.

Bill Thompson

Chief of Staff, EVP & GM of Video/AV

As Chief of Staff to the CEO and EVP and General Manager for Video/AV, Bill leverages his more than 20 years of experience in leading large, multinational organizations through transformation. Combining extensive technology experience, operations, and service innovation with deep financial acumen he is responsible for the execution of the overall corporate strategy. Working closely with the executive and Video/AV teams, he works to create critical alignment and focus across the variety of initiatives that drive Carousel forward to create competitive differentiation. Prior to joining Carousel in 2013, Bill led BT Conferencing’s Video Operations organization, charged with leading all facets of service delivery across the globe with a workforce distributed across three continents. Bill holds his MBA from Colorado State University.

Dan Tassone

Senior Vice President of Sales

Dan is responsible for Carousel’s U.S. sales organization and plays an integral role in building and leading the company’s growth plans. He has nearly 25 years of IT experience and holds an impressive track record of building, managing, and motivating high performing sales teams. Part of his approach includes a passion for sales coaching and enablement. At Carousel, he continues to successfully grow business across the entire IT stack at record numbers YoY and has been instrumental in enabling cloud and managed services sales as customer’s needs have quickly evolved in these areas. Dan has a keen ability to consistently hit key performance metrics including revenue growth, EBITA, and industry leading NPS scores. Prior to Carousel, Dan ran sales teams as EVP of Sales for Consultedge and VP of Sales for SPS, both focused in the IT integrator space and nationally recognized by Avaya and Cisco as top partners. Dan holds an MBA in Finance from Pace university.

Steven De Maayer

Chief Services Officer

As Chief Services Officer, Steven De Maayer has full responsibility for the services organization at Carousel, overseeing a growing team of over 500 professionals. A highly-regarded and experienced IT services executive, Steven brings to Carousel a 20+ year history of leading and exponentially growing high-performing managed services, professional services, and consulting services organizations by focusing on increasing shareholder value through transforming IT services businesses.  Steven has experience building service offerings, selling them and delivering them leveraging automation and best practices. Steven joined Carousel from Wipro Limited, where, as General Manager, he led the Technology and Communications business for the cloud and infrastructure services group. Prior to Wipro, he was Senior Vice President for Services at Dimension Data, where he led a $400 million managed services, professional services and consulting services business. Previously, Steven was a General Manager at HP, where he built and operated offshore delivery centers in Costa Rica.  A native of the Caribbean island of Curacao, Steven holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and an MBA from the University of Florida.

Jason Albuquerque

Chief Information Officer & Chief Security Officer

Jason Albuquerque is Chief Information Officer and Chief Security Officer Carousel Industries, an IT, managed services and cloud services provider. With more than 20 years of experience in the technology field, Jason is responsible for Carousel’s IT Operations, Enterprise Security and Compliance, and Innovation Center of Excellence. He takes pride in leading the charge in building a culture that is secure by design for the Carousel community and its clients. Jason brings the highest levels of leadership, industry knowledge, and agility that today’s industry requires to effectively respond to the rapidly changing innovation, business, threat, and risk landscape. He is the recipient of several prestigious awards in technology and leadership, including Security Magazine’s Top Cybersecurity Leaders for 2021, Rhode Island’s 40 under Forty Award and Rhode Island’s Tech 10 Award. Jason also is a seven-time National Public Technology Institute Solutions Award winner.  He is a co-host of the Business Security Weekly Podcast and is a frequent contributor to CIO, Forbes, and several other leading IT and business publications. He currently serves on Congressman Langevin’s (D-RI) Cybersecurity Advisory Committee, Tech Collective Board of Directors, and the Rhode Island Joint Cyber Task Force.

Nancy Contillo

Chief Human Resources Officer

As CHRO, Nancy is responsible for navigating the professional and personal growth and success of Carousel’s more than 1,300 team members. She and her team drive the ongoing design of the organization’s people strategy—specifically employee engagement, talent strategy, total rewards, and development programs. Nancy has more than 30 years of HR experience, with a number of those years in the technology industry and a global fortune 500 company. A true business partner, she works closely with Carousel’s leadership team to ensure the delivery of the “Ultimate Employee Experience.” Nancy was an integral part of driving the delivery of the first Technical Apprentice Program in Rhode Island, a program that continues to bridge the skills gap in the technology area.

Gustavo Estrella

Senior Vice President of Technology

Gustavo (Gus) Estrella, an accomplished IT leader and innovator serves as Senior Vice President of Technology at Carousel. Gus brings to Carousel more than 30 years’ experience in designing, implementing and managing mission-critical technology environments of sizable scope with much of this work being accomplished for highly regarded global IT services firms. He has worn many hats – CIO, CTO and various VP roles of increasing scope and responsibility throughout his career. He also has created and operated SaaS environments that provide a scalable and predictable performance and cost profile and has a proven track record of building and managing distributed and global technology organizations that significantly improve capabilities and efficiencies while reducing operational costs. Prior to Carousel, Gus led OnProcess’ global application development and the information technology functions.

Zane West

VP, Cybersecurity Sales & Strategy

Zane West is an accomplished global cyber security executive with more than 25 years’ experience with several large, highly regarded professional and IT services and security product and solutions companies. With proven expertise in both Security Architecture and Security Services, West oversees Carousel’s cybersecurity sales and strategy functions as it continues to prioritize security as a core and foundational growth pillar. West also partners with Carousel’s services team to develop new differentiated security services offerings.
