Jeff is an established veteran of the communications and networking industries. He is a visionary with a proven track record of building Carousel through innovative growth plays, consistently staying one step ahead of the technology curve. Since co-founding the company in 1992, he has transformed Carousel from cabling to the cloud – evolving the company from a thriving source of collaboration and network technologies to a holistic professional and managed services provider offering cloud-based solutions. Under Jeff’s leadership, Carousel has grown both organically and through eight strategic acquisitions, enjoying 23 consecutive years of profitable growth. Jeff’s penchant for success stems from more than a sharp eye for corporate progress. He has a distinct ability to anticipate customer needs and is fueled by a passion to help his clients become true innovators and leaders in their markets. Connecting every day with customers, Jeff is committed to providing a personal focus and ensuring that Carousel delivers a positive impact on each client’s business. He applies the same level of personal focus to the entire Carousel team. James Marsh

Chief Revenue Officer


Jim is responsible for the strategy and evolutionary growth of Carousel’s entire business – spanning across the full range of Carousel's technology and service offerings. As a dynamic leader of the Carousel executive team, he oversees the direction and execution of Carousel’s sales, engineering, business development, and marketing initiatives. With a relentless focus on customer success, Jim works closely with Carousel services to steadily increase customer loyalty and drive growth across all industries and market segments. Since Jim joined Carousel in 2001, he has overseen six acquisitions, his organization has expanded to over 350 professionals, and the company's revenue increased over 6,000%. As a result, Carousel has been honored seven times as one of Inc. 500 fastest-growing companies. Jim is committed to ensure that while Carousel grows, the organization maintains its customer-centric mission to create value by helping clients achieve their desired business outcomes. He is passionate about transforming the way customers work and run their business – helping them to connect and collaborate the way today's IT users demand and to modernize their networking infrastructure. Jim played a pivotal role in Carousel’s entry into the managed services and cloud markets. He leads the organization to truly understand customer needs and positions Carousel as a strategic advisor who helps customers evolve and grow.

Jason Viera

Chief Technology Officer

Jason Viera is Chief Technology Officer for Carousel Industries. As CTO, he is responsible for spearheading and shaping the vision of Carousel’s technology strategy to help innovate and cultivate new opportunities for its more than 6,000 clients. As CTO, Jason is laser-focused on continuously strengthening Carousel’s range of services and solutions and ensuring client satisfaction through the company’s engineering talent and masterfully designed solutions. Jason is the driving force behind the launch of Carousel’s Office of the CTO whose mission is to align the company’s engineering talent with customers to advance their business outcomes. Through client engagement activities, The Office is responsible for driving unbiased strategic innovation for both Carousel and its customers. Additionally, The Office vets and adds new technology solutions to its portfolio to provide further value to customers as they continue their digital transformation journey. Before serving as CTO, Jason was previously Senior Director of Infrastructure Solutions for Carousel. In this role, he worked with customers across multiple verticals to address their challenges with end-to-end architectures to meet their business and technical requirements. Prior to Carousel, he served in several engineering and leadership positions for Cisco Systems, Amgen, and Proctor & Gamble. Jason is a Tech10 Award winner, a member of the Forbes Tech Council, and is a frequent contributor to Network World, CRN, Channel Futures, and several other leading IT and business publications. Jason has over two decades of industry experience and more than a dozen industry certifications.

Jason Albuquerque

Chief Information Security Officer

As Chief Information Security Officer with more than 20 years of experience in the technology field, Jason is responsible for Carousel’s Enterprise Security and Compliance Operations and Center of Excellence. He takes pride in leading the charge in building a culture that is secure by design for the Carousel community and its clients. Jason brings the highest levels of leadership, industry knowledge, and agility that today’s industry requires to effectively respond to the rapidly changing threat, risk, and business landscape. He is the recipient of several prestigious awards in technology and leadership, like Rhode Island’s 40 under Forty Award, Rhode Island’s Tech 10 Award, and is a seven time National Public Technology Institute Solutions Award winner. Jason currently serves on Congressman Langevin’s (D-RI) Cybersecurity Advisory Committee, Tech Collective Board of Directors, and the Rhode Island Joint Cyber Task Force.

Nancy Contillo

Chief People Officer

As Chief People Officer, Nancy is responsible for navigating the professional and personal growth and success of Carousel’s 1,500-plus team members. She focuses on the ongoing design of the organization’s people strategy—specifically employee engagement, talent strategy, total rewards and development programs. Nancy joined the Leadership team through its most recent acquisition of Atrion, Inc., where she spent five years as Chief People Officer. Nancy brings an extensive background with over 30-plus years of experience. A true business partner, she works closely with the leadership team to ensure the delivery of the “Ultimate Employee Experience.” During her tenure at Atrion, Nancy was a driving force behind Atrion’s long-term ranking as one of the “Best Places to Work.” She was also instrumental in ensuring the successful delivery of the first Technical Apprentice Program in Rhode Island, a program that continues to bridge the skills gap in Rhode Island.

Jason Cherry

Chief Financial Officer

Jason Cherry is the Chief Financial Officer for Carousel Industries bringing nearly 20 years of experience leading global, diverse, and distributed teams in manufacturing, service, and data-as-a-service industries. With centralized ownership around finance, business systems, corporate data, and reporting, Jason and his teams will further drive intelligence into Carousel’s daily business decisions. Prior to Carousel, Jason was Senior Vice President, Financial Planning and Analysis, for Nielsen where he was responsible for all planning, forecasting, and reporting for the company. Prior to Nielsen, he spent more than 15 years at General Electric Company (GE) in a series of progressively senior roles across aerospace and power generation industries driving financial and operational rigor culminating as the CFO for GE Distributed Power. Jason is also a graduate of GE’s prestigious Financial Management Program (FMP) and Corporate Audit Staff (CAS). Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Northeastern University.


Bill Thompson

Chief of Staff


Bill is responsible for the full array of technology solutions Carousel offers, including delivery to Carousel’s customers. In this capacity he is an essential contributor to setting Carousel’s customer-centric corporate strategy and vision. Equipped with over 18 years of technology expertise and a passion for service excellence, Bill is dedicated to creating a compelling customer experience. Having joined Carousel in 2013, he spends much of his time mapping technology solutions with service offerings to solve the business challenges that Carousel customers are facing. He instituted a client feedback program designed to shape and operationalize unique product and differentiated services offers based on real-time customer input. Bill’s relentless focus on innovative uses of technologies and IT services to enable business transformation ensures Carousel is consistently in tune with its customers. Prior to joining Carousel, Bill was Global Head of Video Operations at British Telecommunications, where he led a multinational services organization supporting global customers from service centers on three continents.

Paul Pinto

Executive Vice President of Services

As Executive Vice President of Services, Paul is responsible for building and leading the services delivery arm comprised of more than 600 services and solutions delivery professionals nationwide. In this role, he is responsible for developing solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of each client including business and IT consulting, project management, managed services, cloud services, workforce agility, and staffing. In addition to responsibility for driving business transformation services and solutions, Paul is keen to deliver on Carousel’s commitment to ensuring the ultimate client experience. In keeping with this mission, his team is committed to enabling businesses to be more agile, responsive to customer needs, and competitive. Paul’s experience includes organization design and transformation, offshore sourcing, mergers and acquisitions, and operations. He has experience in running small to large global organizations and has been directly responsible for various Fortune 500 organizations ranging in upwards of 800 persons operating in 18 countries and 6 continents.

Shauna Hassett

Vice President of Marketing

Shauna leads Carousel’s dynamic marketing organization dedicated to elevating Carousel’s unique value proposition in the market. She positions Carousel competitively and purposefully with its growing customer base through pursuits across digital marketing, social media, account-based marketing, demand generation, live and virtual events, communications, public relations, creative, and brand. In its ongoing mission as a Customer Success Obsessed organization, Shauna enjoys the unique opportunity to capture customers’ stories, highlighting and sharing the tangible benefits an organization can expect in partnering with Carousel. She passionately enjoys the creative process and works to expose the heart of Carousel’s brand and culture. Prior to joining Carousel, Shauna led marketing at Presidio for the north region.


Rick Houlihan

Vice President of Cloud Practice


Rick leads the progressive cloud solution practice and represents an area of tremendous potential growth for Carousel. With over 25 years of experience in the technology industry, Rick is perfectly poised to carve out a rock solid space in this market. He is highly adept at helping to shape the cloud strategies of Carousel’s customers and evaluating the right solutions to support the unique needs of each organization. In his business development efforts, Rick engages heavily with cloud solution partners and acts as a strong champion within Carousel sales. Rick played a key part in building Carousel’s initial book of business and in bringing the first wave of Carousel cloud customers to life. He has a deep-rooted passion for elevating customer success and leads Carousel’s Executive Briefing program, designed to deliver high-touch, in-depth knowledge to Carousel’s customers. Prior to joining Carousel, Rick was Technical Director at Nicom Technologies and a partner at Focus Communications.

Rhonda Wingate

Rhonda leads the Video and Collaboration practice, an area of continued growth for Carousel. She has 20 years of experience in this space where she has lead, direct sales, channel sales, marketing and sales management. With a passion and expertise for building strong, successful channel and direct sales teams, she has accelerated the growth of the Video and Collaboration Solutions and Services practice since joining in 2014. Rhonda previously was the SVP of Enterprise & Public Sector at AVI-SPL, running the top sales team in the West. Before AVI-SPL, she was the SVP for the East region of BT Conferencing, where she ran a large sales team, responsible for 65% of total revenue for BT.

A veteran leader with almost 20 years of industry experience in sales strategy and execution, Mark is responsible for overseeing the growth of Carousel’s data and security practice areas. In addition to pinpointing ways to strengthen the relationship with Carousel’s existing data and security partners, Mark also plays a critical role in growing and maturing the partner ecosystem to exceed company goals. Prior to assuming the role of VP of Data and Security, Mark served as SVP of Sales and Marketing at Atrion, A Carousel Company. During his tenure he oversaw the sales and marketing departments, helping Atrion grow in revenue from $17 million to more than $130 million. Mark’s passion is driven from his values-based approach in which he stresses the importance of being authentic, delivering exceptional customer service, developing loyalty and following best practice methodologies.

Dan Tassone

Dan is responsible for the sales organization for the Eastern USA and plays an integral role in Carousel’s organic growth plans. Dan has over 15 years of vast experience in communications, networking, and security solutions and an impressive track record of building, managing, and motivating sales teams. His entrepreneurial spirit and passion for high-tech sales compliments Carousel’s ever widening portfolio of services and solutions and has allowed him to recruit top talent and exponentially increase the pipeline for his territory since joining in 2016. Prior to Carousel, Dan created and led an experienced Sales organization at Consultedge, growing them into the ninth-largest Avaya National Partner.

Jonathan Buckle

Vice President of Sales, West

Jonathan is responsible for the sales organization for the western United States where he is hyper-focused on driving strategic growth initiatives and fostering strong customer relationships in those regions. With more than two decades in technology, he is well-versed in leading business transformation and innovation for dynamic sales teams. Jonathan joined Carousel from Avaya, where he spent nearly 14 years in leadership roles around Europe, ultimately running global initiatives for the company since 2014. Most recently, he served as Area Channel Leader where he drove more than $250M in revenue. During his tenure at Avaya, he helped architect and implement tools and processes to drive the global sales transformation program, including a massive Salesforce integration. Additionally, Jonathan has led teams keenly fixated on strategic engagement and customer experience and brings that focus in support of Carousel’s Customer Success Obsessed mission.

Brian Pollard

Vice President of Sales Operations

Brian joined the company in July of 2016 as Vice President, Sales Operations. Brian leads sales operations and sales enablement with a vision focused on  consistently enhancing customer experience and driving efficiencies in carousel’s sales motion.  Brian is responsible for the Sales Operations team, including sales enablement, sales support, pricing desk, service contracts, proposal desk, and compensations design. His teams support every step of a customer’s journey with Carousel—from engagement and proposal to full support of a customer’s contract. Brian’s expertise extends to large-scale implementations of sales and marketing platforms, and he has successfully guided the deployment of operational platforms including a CRM system and CPQ tools. Prior to joining Carousel, Brian was Sr. Director Sales Operations at an IT integrator. He has 15 years of experience in sales and sales leadership roles in the IT industry and holds a B.S. in Marketing from Virginia Tech.

Jen Vahtola

Jennifer oversees the Sales Operations team, including Sales Support, Purchasing, Commissions, Data Integrity, and Business Systems – critical to Carousel’s customer outreach and support. Her team touches every step of a customer’s journey with Carousel – from RFP to service to support of a customer contract. Jennifer is dedicated to ensuring that her internal clients have what they need to deliver the best possible solutions to Carousel’s customers. Because her expertise extends to large-scale implementations of sales and marketing platforms as well, she is currently heading up a large CRM implementation for Carousel, a critical part of taking our data to the next level regarding reporting, accuracy and analysis, enabling sales and service to better reach and service customers. Before Carousel, Jennifer was CFO of Nicom Technologies, a company acquired by Carousel in 2006.

Stephen Drew

Vice President of Contact Center Solutions

Stephen joins Carousel from Cigna, where he most recently served as an IT Senior Director in Cigna’s Global IT Organization. In this role, he was responsible for customer contact center, adjunct applications, and customer facing solutions supporting Cigna's Global Customer Care Centers—a workforce of more than 26,000 agents in 40 global centers.  Stephen previously spent six years as a VP of Professional Services for eLoyalty Corp. leading contact center technology implementation and optimization services. Stephen holds an M.S. in Finance from the University of Notre Dame and a B.S. in MIS from the University of Maryland. He is currently pursuing his Doctorate of Business Administration with DePaul University.

James Suller

Vice President of Customer Success

James serves as the company’s Vice President of Customer Success, cementing Carousel’s commitment to ensuring success throughout every customer touchpoint. With years of experience in building world-class B2B and B2C customer-focused organizations, James leads and accelerates Carousel’s company-wide mission of being “Customer Success Obsessed”. In this role, James is responsible for enhancing the company’s Customer Success/Lifecycle Advisory Team and processes, enabling customers to derive significant value from their technology investments, and driving expanded levels of customer satisfaction. Prior to joining Carousel, James served as Global Vice President of Customer Success for LexisNexis. In this role, he developed and managed the end-to-end customer experience strategy across multiple products and segments for more than 12,000 customers with $190M in annual revenue. James holds an MBA from the University of Connecticut, as well as a Six Sigma Master Black Belt and several leadership and change management certifications.
